Core Digital Media is a top 10 advertiser across display, paid search, mobile and social marketing making us the largest and most successful performance advertiser on the internet.  We are currently looking for a Software QA Analyst. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a very fast-paced, collaborative environment. Some job duties include:

  • Participate in software design discussions, reviews and test strategy sessions
  • Provide quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes
  • Create test data and maintain regression test suites
  • Work on daily QA activities on web, mobile and back end projects
  • Support, follow up and troubleshoot the issues found by the QA offshore team
  • Run and troubleshoot automation scripts

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with project team to review requirements & design for testability and develop a test strategy
  • Develop plans, scenarios, test cases and test scripts, execute test suites, analyze and report results
  • Identify, track, and follow through on issues and defects
  • Manage scope and priorities to complete testing efforts on time
  • Insure the project’s deliverables and activities comply with requirements and QA standards
  • Update product / QA documentation for training
  • Maintain and triage automation scripts

Skills:

  • Works well with cross functional team
  • Able to prioritize and work effectively on multiple concurrent efforts, and quickly change priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Able to problem solve and excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Adept at extracting information from written materials and identifying the action to be taken
  • Proficient in writing test plans and test cases

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in QA
  • Knowledge of Oracle and strong ability to perform SQL queries
  • Strong technical knowledge of web application framework and infrastructure
  • Experience in web and mobile testing
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices
  • Knowledge of test case management and defect tracking systems
  • Solid knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies
  • Working knowledge of common automation tools and technologies such as Selenium Webdriver, Appium and Java
  • Experience creating automation scripts is a plus
