We are looking for a software engineer to join our team.  We're a small software team responsible for much of the server side of a SaaS application.  We develop RESTful web services in a multi-tiered environment. Our code is responsible for the persistence and retrieval of quantitative and qualitative scores and data for research teams and clients.

This position would be responsible for taking some of the results and projects our mad scientists have pioneered and turning it into testable, repeatable software processes.  A familiarity with advanced math concepts would make your day easier but isn't necessary. However, a solid understanding of how to make a project production ready is vital.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated the following throughout their career:

- 3+ years of python development
- a problem-solving mentality
- know the difference between done and done done
- 2+ years of experience in designing and implementing REST APIs in Django or Flask
- experience with ORMs preferred (e.g. SQLAlchemy)
- have used one or more of the following (Numpy , Pandas, Dask)
- Experience with automated testing (unit, functional, and integration tests)
- Git
- Bash scripting
- are more than beginner level interfacing with AWS tools
- have a working knowledge of SQL and a RDBMS
