Software Engineer, Front-End

ServiceTitan is looking for a Software Engineer to help us fulfill our mission of delivering safe, eco-friendly, beautiful and affordable home and family products to all current and future customers. Were looking for someone who loves Javascript and building incredible web experiences and isnt afraid to get their hands dirty in a bit of server side code. Were looking for someone who loves to apply continuous pressure to improve the quality of code, has a positive attitude, learns quickly and loves working with a team.

You will be responsible for creating a modern interface for the our mobile/desktop application. You will work with Product, Design, Backend and QA to develop scalable, rock-solid, production-ready features (and, of course, fix bugs along the way). You will be expected to iterate rapidly and use React, Semantic UI, TypeScript to develop reusable components.

What you'll do

• Architect and build progressive web applications using modern frontend stack
• Participate and define re-imagination of our frontend architecture
• Solve challenging tasks on the edge of old and new frontend technologies
• Optimize performance heavy parts of existing applications
• Lead and mentor less experienced developers

What you'll need

• Expert knowledge of both modern and old school JS and the way it works under the hood
• Ability to write high performant JS and strong profiling skills
• Asynchronous programming
• Solid frontend frameworks experience (React, Angular)
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Understanding of responsive design and development
• Debugging techniques
• Strong unit testing skills
