Responsibilities

  • You are passionate about quality and quality-focused technologies for both software and data.
  • You are comfortable working with and mentoring more junior colleagues
  • Develop innovation strategies, processes, and best practices
  • Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects
  • Lead and participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects
  • Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high-level design
  • Lead the work of small groups of six to ten engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned engineering project
  • You stay up-to-date in a rapidly evolving industry and promote QA best practices
  • You know what a good testing strategy looks like and how to get tests running efficiently and often 
  • Excellent organizational memory and attention to detail
  • Ensure business needs are being met

Ideal Profile

  • 5+ years testing web, mobile, cloud-native and hybrid applications, and deep familiarity with open source tools and workflows (e.g. Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Robot)
  • 5+ years of experience working within an agile workflow in a CI environment 
  • 5+ years experience collaborating with and working in cross-functional teams including product, user experience, project management, etc.
  • Experience in developing, designing frameworks - Java, JavaScript, Python, Perl and web technologies.
  • Experience working with distributed, diverse teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related field and/or work experience 
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a “no job too small” startup mentality
