Headspace is looking for a QA Manager who possess a passion for advanced testing. You will be leveraging new and existing automation technologies whilst managing a team of quality manual testers and engineers to build out a world class, scalable automation framework servicing all of our clients. Communication and cross team collaboration experience is a must. You need to be a quick thinker and a selfless team member willing to dive in and adapt quickly to solve technical problems.

- Define a great roadmap for tooling and automation for rapid iterative testing of new and existing high quality features.
- Confidently manage a growing team of QA analysts and engineers
- Create a robust, scalable automated test framework for mobile, web and voice platforms
- Support and grow the development and testing skills of your team in alignment with key business goals
- Give and receive feedback to better serve/grow the team in a meaningful, but honest empathetic manner
- Communicate frequently and clearly to key stakeholders throughout projects
What you’ve accomplished:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent combo of education/work
- 5+ years experience in a development role, including 3+ years developing QA tools and automation
- 3+ years experience managing teams of 5+ developers
- Excellent coding skills in one or more of these languages: Ruby, C#, C++, C, Python
- Experience utilizing cloud based device farms
- Strong understanding of testing automation, white, gray, and black box testing methodologies
- Expertise in sprint process, using JIRA and Confluence to track tasks and report the progress
- Experience using Testrail to manage all aspects of manual testing
- Familiarity with iTunes Connect, Google Play, HockeyApp, GitHub, and CMS systems
- Experience reviewing crash logs and similarly focused reports; Crashlytics and Test IO a plus
- Ability to communicate with product owners and developers
- Experience in building out automation frameworks from the ground up at more than one startup or larger tech company is a plus
- Experience of leading remote team members is a plus
