The Position:

Socialive is seeking senior and staff engineers to drive forward our innovation utilizing WebRTC, across the backend, web frontend, and mobile technologies. As an engineer focused on WebRTC, you’ll be responsible for:

• Working closely with your teammates and cross-functional collaborators to build and deliver dynamic, engaging capabilities while maintaining a positive and collaborative remote work environment
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers, and leading execution across the team
• Application of feature and standards changes to evolving specifications

• Owning the quality, reliability, and strategy of Socialive’s WebRTC services, across a variety of technologies
• Working with our team of engineering leaders and product managers to identify dependencies and support feature deliverables across the product space

• Maintaining a focus on best-in-class engineering principles and process, from code architecture and quality to agile processes and ceremonies

Technologies you’ll work with and experience you’ll ideally bring:

• Deep mastery of WebRTC specifications and implementation across multiple browsers and mobile platforms
• C/C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python development
• WebRTC infrastructure and management

• Amazon Web Services infrastructure and deployments, utilizing Elastic Beanstalk, RDS/Aurora, Docker/Containerization, VPCs, EC2, Amplify, S3, Elasticache, and other services we research and adopt

• Infrastructure-as-code and GitOps
• A security- and reliability-first mindset
• Cross-functional leadership and communication skills

This position is 100% remote, based in the US.
