We are seeking senior software engineers who can bring their experiences and opinions to help us solve hard, cutting-edge research problems, and turn those solutions into robust and amazing products. We work on research problems and products that range from machine learning to cyber security to text analysis, so we are seeking applicants who are comfortable juggling multiple contexts at the same time.

Must haves:

• BS in CS or related field
• 5 to 8 years professional software engineering experience
• Proficient in Java and JavaScript; experience with Python a plus
• 5-8 years of experience as a software engineer
• Knowledge of SQL and previous experience building apps that use MySQL 
• Docker and basic dev ops skills on AWS; beyond basic skills a plus
• Experience building/using REST APIs
• Ability to learn quickly and enthusiastically across a number of topics
• Self-directed and strong initiative
• Desire and willingness to teach others
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to haves:

• MS in Computer Science
• Previous experience building web apps using Bootstrap, Angular, React or Vue
• Previous experience leveraging AWS technologies like Lambda, Kinesis, etc.
• Knowledge/experience with Machine Learning and/or NLP
