Dave is looking for talented Security Engineers to play an instrumental role in securing products that help millions of people improve their relationship with money. We're looking for passionate security engineers interested in protecting our customers and systems. What You'll Do

• Be curious and conduct regular security assessments on new and existing products, performing code reviews and audits to proactively find potential vulnerabilities
• Work with product managers and other engineers to build more secure systems via technical leadership, design input, and code review
• Write scripts and build tools that the rest of the engineering team will use to catch security issues upfront
• Analyze, assess, and respond to various internet threats, interacting directly with the Dave engineering community regarding vulnerabilities and threats
• Communicate clearly and champion security, while balancing developer efficiency with business needs
• Mentor and pair with other engineers regularly

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience on an internal application or infrastructure security team as a security engineer or related discipline.
• Experience working with web and mobile applications security.
• Pentesting, vulnerability management, and incident response experience.
• Conducting code review and influence secure product design.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in any field which requires logical creative thinking, STEM majors MS degree preferred.
• Proficiency in any programming language (Python, Javascript, Perl, Ruby, etc).
• Experience applying open source technologies to solve security challenges (e.g. osquery, Forsetti).
• Knowledge of Git, Github, and public cloud infrastructure (preferred Google Cloud Platform).
