Since raising a $45 million Series A investment, the Output team is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analyst. The Senior QA Analyst will take a key role in evolving test automation for Output’s flagship product ARCADE in addition to performing manual testing. They are passionate about quality and are the driving force that ensures that every phase and feature is tested and that any potential issues are identified and documented and how to best leverage existing tools and be able to recommend improvements. 

How you'll add value:

  • Creating test cases and executing test scripts, and being knowledgeable about product requirements and functionality.
  • Adapt user stories into test cases
  • Create and execute manual test cases
  • Evaluate and implement test automation frameworks for Desktop / Web 
  • Identify test cases better suited for automation and write automated tests
  • Work closely with programmers to obtain information required to create and administer QA test plans
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement in our CI/CD workflow and present   solutions to management
  • Work with product managers to understand product requirements 
  • Triage and prioritize bugs for releases
  • Verify that defects have been addressed
  • Perform end-to-end regression testing and ensure code is ready for deployment
  • Able to identify gaps and suggest improvements to both the systems under test and the overall testing process
  • Responsible for communicating risks and providing timely and meaningful feedback to stakeholders based on test plan execution.
  • Continually validate testing tools and processes
  • Execute system, integration, regression, and release testing for all products and features

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum 5-6 years experience within Quality Assurance discipline specifically in a desktop applications (Win / Mac) and Web
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related, or equivalent employment experience.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools.
  • Proven ability to write automated tests
  • Experience with Robot Framework, C++, Python, React, Javascript, BASH or similar
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Experience with Music Production software / plugins 
  • Ability to leverage reporting tools - (Rollbar, Bugsnag, etc.) to improve product quality
  • Experience with test case management platforms
  • Experience producing clear documentation of steps required for specific testing tasks
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities.
  • Superior organizational, time management, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and within an integrated team of software developers, project managers, and QA engineers
