We are looking for a mobile software engineer to help us develop platform to generate mobile apps for iOS. The industry is in a constant state of flux; tools and frameworks change by the month and so we are looking for someone who is not afraid to learn on the job, and who can take the initiative to identify and implement novel solutions

First Six Month Deliverables

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other software developers to deliver compelling products or enterprise wide integrations
• As a part of the engineering scrum team, contribute to the architecture of efficient and reusable components that drive complex applications across the stack
• Build frameworks enabling us to create mobile apps
• Identify and resolve functional, performance and scalability issues

Requirements

Passionate about loosely held values and ideas. We want someone who has experience but is not blinded by the path already taken.

• 5+ years or more iOS (Swift) development experience
• Strong understanding of and experience with testing practices
• Experience building out 3-5 complex applications from concept to completion (end-to-end)
• Capable of owning technical design for projects of moderate complexity, and understand the tradeoffs in creating good software
• Depth knowledge in in-scope products or systems that enables to debug those effectively and without issues
• Capable of consistently producing high-quality code and aware of best practices and trends
• Demonstrated ability to master at least one major skill outside of core coding such as monitoring, documentation, security, integration testing, visual design, devops, performance optimization
• Demonstrated ability of taking a complex user story, breaking it down into sub-tasks, and completing said sub-tasks with relative ease
• Demonstrated ability of showing initiative beyond knocking tasks off a list or to identify and suggest areas of future work for themselves or their teams
