What’s so interesting about this role?
You will work directly with the Director of Engineering and work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing and product. You will lead technical direction, leveraging the latest front and backend technologies to build scalable web and mobile web applications, delivering groundbreaking user experiences across devices.
Location: West Hollywood or Remote from the U.S. or Canada
What’s the Job?
- Responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering desktop and mobile web applications
- Responsible for ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Develop consumer-facing features iteratively to meet company demands
- Manage projects and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business
- Proven experience successfully optimizing applications for scalability
- Utilize problem solving skills to implement creative solutions to tough problems
- Advocate for best-in-class technology solutions for content management and editorial workflows
What We’ll Love About You
- BA/BS in computer science preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant web development experience
- Significant experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and other front end technologies and frameworks including ReactJS
- Experience with Wordpress or other major content management systems
- Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
- Manage projects and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business
- Able to work quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Nice to have: Familiar with React.js.
- Nice to have: Experience with AWS EC2/S3
