Cloudvirga is seeking an exceptional Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Orange County! As our DevOps Engineer, you will work as part of a passionate agile project team to ensure every software deployment and release meets the quality standards our customers have come to rely on. You will wear many hats as a software developer responsible for building software releases and testing new code; as an automation expert using tools that automate the development, testing and integration of software releases/fixes; as a release manager who ensures each and every release is stable and; as a security officer, continually monitoring our product's health and security after update deployment. What you’ll do:

• Apply cloud (AWS, Azure) computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes.
• Design, develop, and implement software that defines and evolves our infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
• Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects.
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
• Optimize the company’s computing architecture.
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Develop and maintain network, system and application monitoring and utilize that in an actionable manner: alerting and automation (scaling)

 We’re looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role.
• Expert in code deployment tools (one of Puppet, Ansible, and Chef, HashiCorp tools).
• Maintain and troubleshoot .NET applications.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Working knowledge of software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium).
• Expertise in software development methodologies.
• Experience using a scripting language such as Bash, Powershell, or Python and know DevOps tools like Terraform.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language).
• You possess a problem-solving attitude.
• You can work independently and as part of a team.
