JOANY is seeking a talented Lead DevOps Engineer to join a growing DevOps Team working closely with Software Engineers and Data Scientists to build our next generation application platform that will span across multiple cloud providers.

What You'll Do

• Configuration management and orchestration for cloud based applications
• Database operations such as backup, migration and change management
• Coordinate and automate tests of new software and systems
• Provision, plan, and maintain technical architecture to scale for the growing traffic needs of the company
• Troubleshoot system, network, and application level issues
• Participate in on call rotation as a part of response team to address any critical infrastructure issues

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience with DevOps practices
• 4+ years of overall infrastructure automation experience (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• 4+ years of experience with Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Solid knowledge and understanding of IT security best practices
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals
• Substantial experience with Amazon Web Services
• Strong scripting abilities (Ruby, Python, BASH)
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
