Whip Media is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience supporting modern data operations in the cloud. This critical role directly supports the teams of data engineers and data scientists providing industry leading media analytics and insights within  our product and service offerings to our enterprise customers.

What will you do?

• Design, build, monitor, and continuously optimize our critical cloud infrastructure
  
• Support the large-scale ingestion, processing, and storage of highly-available data
  
• Lead the development of our next-generation data infrastructure to support real-time data pipelines and advanced machine learning workflows
  
• Establish testing infrastructure for integration, stress, and performance testing
  
• Demonstrate security and compliance best practices
  
• Establish and maintain SOC1/SOC2 compliance
• Provide first-level engineering support for responding to and managing high-priority incidents

• PagerDuty
  
• Application and infrastructure SLAs
  
• Cloud services budget management
  
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems and clustered computing
  
• Experience working in an agile environment using Jira and Confluence
