Responsibilities:

  • Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support)
  • Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
  • Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions
  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
  • Design interfaces to improve user experience
  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Android using Java in a modern IDE such as Android Studio
  • Deep understanding of Android SDK and common used open source libraries
  • Deep understanding of UI design such as layouts, constraints and widgets
  • Efficient approach to debugging
  • Detail-oriented
  • Self-starter and able to work productively from home/remote

Nice to have:

  • Experience with an SDLC/Agile workplace environment
  • Advanced OOP (Object-Oriented Programming)
  • GIT/SVN experience
  • Knowledge of WebRTC is a Huge plus

This position is 100% remote, based in the U.S.
