Quality Control Technician

We currently have an opening for an Audio Description QC Technician. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
• Individual will perform quality assurance testing on audio description tracks against video.
• Duties require an accurate and methodical approach to testing as well as a very focused and detailed attention to audio, video and any on screen text.
• Visual \ audible quality assurance testing of audio description material.
• Use a designated QC report and/or other documentation to verify compliance of Deluxe product to client specifications in regard to content, legal, and technical specs.
• Interface with client representatives at QC screenings.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• 2-4 years quality control experience in entertainment, gaming or related field preferred.
• Individual must possess a fundamental understanding of audio, video, PC, Mac, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Individual must be able to troubleshoot quality control issues and player anomalies.
• Individual must be organized, diligent and detail-oriented.
• Individual must possess solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Duties require an accurate and methodical approach to testing as well as a very focused and detailed attention to audio, video and any on screen text.
• Individual must be capable of working in a fast-paced, small team environment with hard deadlines.
• Individual will need to make frequent "subjective" decisions as part of their daily function (e.g. determining the "severity rating" for quality defects, determining which defects are acceptable, etc.).
