FabFitFun is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our team.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, write, execute, and maintain automated integration tests using TestCafe or a similar end-to-end web test framework.
- Work with Engineering and Product teams to ensure the necessary data is built, available and that test environments are functional.
- Work with the end users to guide and manage the user acceptance phase of testing. Also, triage bugs found by users.
- Work with Engineering and Product teams to convert feature requirements and design documents into a test plan and a collection of functional test cases.
- Log and write clear and detailed defect reports into Jira.
- Identify and raise awareness on features/process blockers, risks and challenges.
- Utilize tools for API testing.
- Participate in improving test processes, propose new ideas on how to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product.
- Support efforts on making sure high risk issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Execute functional test cases with the assistance of manual testers.
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years of experience with various software testing methodologies such as: unit, integration, functional, manual, load and regression
- 2+ years as a SDET, QA analyst, or software engineer
- Experience writing automated web tests using a mature end to end web test framework
- Experience in both functional/black-box testing and white/grey-box testing
- Knowledge of Java or JavaScript
- Knowledge of different testing methodologies
- Knowledge of software development life cycle, Agile, Scrum, Kanban methodologies
- Knowledge utilizing test management tools (Jira/TestRail)
- Outstanding time management, prioritization, and independence as well as very detail oriented
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and distributed teams
- Experience with manual cross-browser and mobile web/app testing
- Bachelor's Degree in a business or technology related field
