ROLE

Happy Returns is seeking a driven, self-motivated Senior QA Engineer to make significant contributions in our rapidly growing Quality Assurance team. If you thrive on ensuring product quality, solving unique problems and consistently delivering value to end-users with high confidence, this role is for you.

You will be responsible for collaborating with product and engineers to create and execute test plans, enforce quality expectations, and ensure that our features and products meet the high standards that our partners and customers have come to expect from the Happy Returns experience.

The Senior QA Engineer will:

• Own the development and execution of test plans and test cases for features across various platforms and applications
• Collaborate with product and engineering to perform impact assessments regarding planned changes for the current and upcoming sprints
• Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing as required
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
• Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress
• Ensure that test cases and test plans satisfy the product requirements, acceptance criteria and meet end-user expectations
• Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

• 3+ years of experience in API testing using Postman
• Advanced SQL and database testing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience debugging, diagnosing, profiling, and troubleshooting complex issues
• Advanced knowledge for Core QA functions (i.e., constructing test cases, building test plans, identifying and filing detailed bug reports, etc)
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow through, and strong organizational skills
• Creative and innovative thinker who enjoys solving complex problems
• Strong interest in the e-commerce space and web technologies
