QA Engineer
Protecht’s industry leading live event technology and consumer-facing protection products help provide ticketing platforms and organizers with control over inventory, additional lines of revenue, fraud prevention tools, and fan engagement through enhancements like an improved checkout flow, bot detection (beta), and upgraded security.
Job Description:
As a QA Engineer at Protecht, you’ll work closely with the engineering team to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create test plans with detailed test scenarios
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Identify and document defects (ideally with screencasts, where appropriate)
- Coordinate with product managers and application developers to identify appropriate test coverage for product requirements
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Experience with Selenium
