Product Delivery Engineer I
Do you love the restaurant and technology industries? Are you looking for an opportunity to hone your technical problem solving and web development skills? If working on a lean, collaborative team which has a wide range of responsibilities and constantly tackles new and exciting problems for the company interests you, then we might have the perfect opportunity.
About the Position:
As a Product Delivery Engineer I on the Engineering Team, you will maximize the quality and effectiveness of restaurant products by managing integrations of ChowNow’s online ordering product with our restaurant partner websites, investigating issues detected by our web crawling tool and helping facilitate our mobile apps automation. You will interface closely with team members in the Restaurant Success and Customer Support departments in order to effectively make the onboarding and integration process as smooth as possible for our restaurant partners. You will be an integral part of our mobile application building process through our in-house automation software, helping deliver personalized, high-quality apps onto the app store and play store.
This position is located in our Los Angeles Headquarters. Reports to Engineering Manager. No Direct Reports.
About the Team:
ChowNow is unique among tech startups in the restaurant space. We power branded online ordering systems for independent restaurants across North America – via websites, Google, Instagram, and through branded iOS and Android apps – and we do it all for a reasonable monthly fee regardless of order volume. We operate this way because of our belief in being fair, sustainable, and equitable with our restaurant partners. And the same goes for our workplace.
Diversity, teamwork, and mutual respect are among our core company values. And we pride ourselves on giving our teams plenty of opportunities to make their mark. To date we’ve created over 20,000 apps for our restaurant partners – something that’s never been done before in our category. And as we expand to new markets, further spreading the word about the ChowNow difference, those opportunities to create, build, and grow will only increase. If this sounds like the kind of workplace, and the kind of mission, that appeals to you, we’d love to talk.
