As a Lead Software Engineer - Accounting & Finance on our Engineering team, you will focus on leading a team to integrate our NetSuite ERP with our custom billing platform. Your technology will be used at scale, processing millions of dollars of transactions and reliably recording the company’s financials. You will work with business stakeholders to build custom integration architecture from the ground up, with an eye towards stability, performance and automation. Additionally, we’ll look to you to provide overall architecture guidance and vision for our finance automation needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to oversee integrations and automated data ingestion
• Architect and build custom integration architecture from the ground up
• Research and develop technology solutions through collaboration with business users and other technology staff
• Lead issue resolution for the finance teams, integration teams, and upstream and downstream impacts
• Perform root cause analysis on major problems and recurring issues
• Conduct internal testing to validate custom designed solutions and effectively perform user acceptance testing
• Optimize performance and usage of the NetSuite solution
• Provide overall architecture guidance and vision for NetSuite
• Experience with custom integration architecture; we do not use ETL tools such as Dell Boomi or Celigo

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years practical experience integrating with enterprise ERPs, NetSuite strongly preferred
• Experience with any object oriented language (Ruby, Python, Go)
• Knowledgeable in relational database architecture and methods
• Experienced in developing complex SQL queries
