Lead Frontend Engineer

Do you believe that everything should look and function beautifully? The Lead Frontend Engineer, will be an integral part of the effort to develop our next generation platform. We want people who have a passion for leveraging technology and software to solve problems and maximize productivity and efficiency.

What you'll do:

• Build and maintain a complete library of components and services
• Build and maintain the main style guide and code snippets
• Build and maintain the frontend build process, including automated testing
• Create frontend coding standard and style
• Support full-stack team members in the use of all the above
• Work with UX designers to insure all components look and function beautifully

What you need:

• Expert level JavaScript (plain JS and with frameworks/libraries)
• Expert level with a front-end framework in a modern modularized JavaScript application
• Expert level CSS
• Experience designing/implementing animation for transitions/interactions
• Experience creating and maintaining frontend build systems
• Solid understanding of how a browser works
• Knowledge of common design patterns and trade-offs
• Strong eye for design and detail
• Experience with custom interactive visualizations a plus
