iOS Build Systems Lead - Software Engineer, iOS, 8+ Years Experience at Snap Inc.

We’re looking for an iOS Engineer to join Snap Inc to work on the Client Frameworks team focusing on build systems! This role will be based in either Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA.
What you’ll do:
- Improve the way we compile, test and release the iOS app
Improve all aspects of developer experience in the iOS codebase
Work on build level optimizations of the iOS app aimed at improving performance and reducing app size
Build tools for analyzing the iOS codebase and discovering new optimization opportunities
Carry out code reviews to guarantee code quality
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience with iOS, Swift and Objective-C
Solid understanding of Objective-C Runtime and processes which run “under the hood”
Knowledge of the OS internals, compilers, optimization for low-power and mobile systems
Proficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for iOS,
Strong CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures) and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of software design patterns and iOS best practices
BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
8+ years of experience in developing mobile applications for the iOS environment
Experience with Objective-C and iOS
Experience with Buck and Bazel
Experience with Swift
Experience with C/C++
