Information Security Professionals - ISSO, ISSM, Compliance Manager
Anduril Industries is seeking qualified candidates for Government-focused information security and accreditation roles, including Information Systems Security Officers (ISSOs), Information System Security Managers (ISSMs), and Compliance Managers, to support Anduril’s efforts to bring cutting edge technology to the national security space. These positions will be based in Irvine, CA and Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the business development, mission operations, engineering , facilities, security, and legal teams on a variety of initiatives to deploy Anduril’s information systems in highly secure environments
- Provide critical support to technical accreditation efforts specifically those part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include authority to operate (ATO), interim authority to test (IATT) and others.
- Field complex compliance questions from stakeholders throughout the company, including engineering, bd, security, and legal
- Execute all functions of the RMF process to include conducting system categorizations, mapping, detailing and managing the implementation of controls, writing system security plans (SSP), security policies, and POAMs
- Manage operational aspects of COMSEC to include CCI, encryption systems, keying material and methods. This would include serving as COMSEC manager or alternate
Requirements
- Ability to operate independently and find unique solutions to complex problems. Must take initiative and be able to excel with minimal guidance in a highly complex, quick reaction capability environment
- Four or more years of experience in US Government technical accreditation processes to include RMF, Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), FIPS 140-2, NIAP and/or FedRamp., and COMSEC operations
- Knowledge and experience in the implementation of NIST SP 800-53 and NISPOM controls for all baselines, including implementation of controls within a complex organization
- Experience with DoD telecommunications and information systems access and accreditations, including JWICS, SIPRNet, and other classified level networks.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an Information Systems Security Manager within DoD, a DoD contractor, or both.
- Served in an Information System Security Officer role
- Prior COMSEC manager of alternate experience
- Security+ or CISSP certification preferred but not required
U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.
