Head of Engineering

Compensation: $100k-$180k, 0.5%-2.5% equity
Dandy, Inc. was founded by two USC students who’ve raised $3.3m from First Round Capital, the CTO of Tinder, and execs of Snapchat, Facebook, Uber, Airbnb, Lyft, and more. In anticipation of new pain points COVID-19 would bring, Dandy pivoted to Zoom University, a virtual party that enables students to meet via 2-on-2 video chats. Within two months, our mobile app has grown from nothing to over 100,000 total registered users and hit #9 in the Social Networking category of the App Store.

- Work directly with the CEO on product strategy: technical feasibility & recommendations, deliver engineering timelines, give input on product direction, participate in product prioritization
- Aid in defining the company org chart & hiring key players: engineers, product designers, PMs
- Collaborate with Head of Marketing on innovative product growth ideas
