Full Stack Engineer

Protecht’s industry leading live event technology and consumer-facing protection products help provide ticketing platforms and organizers with control over inventory, additional lines of revenue, fraud prevention tools, and fan engagement through enhancements like an improved checkout flow and upgraded security.

What you will do:

As a Full Stack Engineer at Protecht, you’ll operate at the intersection among data, feature, performance and scale. You will be challenged to design, evaluate and execute on these tradeoffs to make the most impact.

• Contribute to our transition to a microservices architecture.
• Build a new technical distribution channel for modern insurance products.
• Improve performance, scalability and reliability for our applications.

What we are looking for…

• An interest in being experimental, possessing a mindset of “fail fast, iterate faster”
• A driven attitude and bias toward automation.
• A background in distributed systems and system design in areas such as scaling rules, fault tolerance and federation
• A solid understanding of data modeling techniques in Postgres and Redis
• A high level of understanding of modern web applications & technologies such as JavaScript, React, Python, Django, and AWS Lambda
• Previous experience working as a Full Stack Engineer
• Strong, proactive communication skills to effectively partner with engineers and key stakeholders on projects 
• Adaptable, agile and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
