Job Description Summary
As a Front End Engineer at CCC, you will work with an experienced, cross-disciplinary team to conceive, design and develop innovative products for our customers. You must be flexible, responsive and able to succeed within an open, collaborative environment.
Job Duties
In this role, you will work on complex front end applications for the auto insurance industry using Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and other related technologies. You will also do some work on middle-tier server applications using .NET. You will create and maintain unit tests and end to end tests, as well as analyzing and closing out defects. Additionally, you will be asked to configure and maintain environments for development and testing. You will work closely with other developers, business analysts and QA team members.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience developing large, complex front end applications using Angular, React, Vue, or similar, preferably using TypeScript
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, the DOM, and JavaScript
- Understanding of web architecture, HTTP, REST, and backend fundamentals
- Experience developing and testing web applications for multiple browsers
- Highly capable at problem solving and debugging code with browser dev tools
- Understanding of web security basics
- Ability to create web pages that closely match mockups and wireframes built by UX designers
- Able to use git in a structured team environment where changes are managed by reviewed pull requests
- Experience working as a front end or full-stack developer on at least one published website
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

- Familiarity with reactive programming and state management
- Experience with front end tooling and testing frameworks
- Understanding of performance optimization and caching
