Boeing's Autonomous Systems, Advanced Mission Solutions (AMS) division in Huntington Beach is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer, passionate about autonomous systems and excited to work in a multi-disciplined, collaborative engineering environment to design, develop and implement control and communications software for various new Boeing products in development.

Experienced Software Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full life-cycle development including requirements analysis, software architecture, design, coding, unit test, integration and formal qualification.
• Design Software, implement, test, and create maintenance related documentation
• Develop software in C++, C#, Java, Python

• Responsible for contributing ideas in team design and code reviews, and other collaborative development discussions.

**This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with a Single Scope Investigation SCI/SSBI eligibility. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).  (Post Start)
• 3+ years of experienced in embedded software development using C++
• Previous experience with embedded programing on Linux operating system
• Previous experience in software development using Java/Java script/Python.
• Must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related technical filed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Active US Security Clearance TS/SSBI is preferred
• Previous experience in software development using C#
• possess excellent communications skills
• Experienced in building web services and web applications
• Previous experience working with hardware components and developing user interfaces
• Previous experience working I2C serial protocol, PCIe interface, SQL database, SVN/GIT or similar version control application.
• Proficiency in Agile software development lifecycle

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification:

Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent is preferred.
