As a Snap Engineering team member, you’ll help us build the future of communication.
We're looking for a Program Manager to join the Engineering Programs team!
What you’ll do:
Design, build, and manage scalable initiatives and projects related to the onboarding, development, and training of our Engineering employees.
Partner with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Snap to support our teams and team members around the world.
Drive and define operational tasks for key initiatives.
Build and maintain systems for tracking key initiative health using data and analysis.
Proactively seek out feedback on how to improve on key initiatives and projects.
Help coordinate and execute project development while prioritizing project tasks and different teams needs.
Understand issues and needs and help to bring together key partners to quickly converge on a solution.
Translate raw thoughts into clear documentation and/or process definition and process improvement.
Communicate project statuses to project members, service owners, and leadership with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.
Plan and execute high value cross-team meetings.
Foster an open and collaborative environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Highly organized and detail oriented with a proactive work-style.
Problem solving, partnerships, client management skills.
Incredibly proactive and able to take initiative and work efficiently with little direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent years of experience.
3+ years of program and/or operation management experience at a technology company.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing programs across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones.
Experience leading initiatives with a global footprint.
Experience with managing programs designed for engineers.
Analytical and problem-solving experience.
Fluency with common operational tools: JIRA, Confluence, Google Suite etc.
