Responsibilities:

• Leads DevOps & Tooling development for the Plaform teams; including Public Cloud Deployment, Infrastructure as Code, Resource Metering, Continuous Deployment and Runtime Tooling
• Leads Corporate IT development and manages projects, vendors and time-lines within the corporate IT infrastructure
• Works closely with Business and Technology executives to develop the platform's vision and strategy
• Leads modern operational tooling for both Bird Developers and platform operational strategies
• Responsible for financial management of cloud infrastructure and corporate IT infrastructure
• Ensures the technical team aligns with architectural standards, documentation and operational strategy alongside peers

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Experience leading and managing large-scale teams building and operating large scale platforms or services
• Proven track record in developing technology strategy and vision
• Extensive background in working with business partners in the areas of software development, APIs, integrations and service deployment
• Results orientated with demonstrated ability to achieve success
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
• Ability to positively and strongly influence the team
