Director Software Engineer, Front-End

Basic Requirements

• 12+ years of software development experience in cloud hosted SaaS application development for enterprise businesses with a focus on front-end engineering
• 5+ years of experience in managing teams
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Experiences:

• 8+ years experience building responsive, elegant, and intuitive web and/or mobile application front ends in a cloud based environment for Enterprise class businesses
• 8+ years experience with HTML, CSS (Less preferred) and Javascript
• Strong knowledge of Javascript frameworks (Angular JS and React)
• 5+ years experience building Single Page Applications using RESTful APIs
• Experience building user interfaces for use across multiple web browsers
• Ability to code from endpoint to pixel perfect
• A deep understanding of good UI/UX design and the ability to fill in the design details if provided a wireframe
• Experience working in an Agile team environment
• Excellent communication skills to aid in effective collaboration with Engineering teammates, Product Management, Tech Support, and DevOps
• Hands on technical mentorship of engineering teams participating in architecture design, code review, pair programming, and implementation of proven software design patterns

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Native and non-native mobile app experience
• Development experience using social media APIs (Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
