FabFitFun, ranked by Inc, Forbes and E&Y as one of the fastest growing companies in L.A and the U.S., is looking for a Director of Global Sourcing and Quality Assurance. This newly created role will build and lead a team of sourcing and quality professionals in support of Account Management and Product Development, creating a world-class vendor matrix, assisting in costing negotiations and ensuring flawless execution of programs. In addition, this role will be responsible for building quality assurance best practices to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and lead a team of sourcing and quality professionals both in the US and overseas
  • Create a strategic global vision for the Sourcing and Quality teams
  • Oversee the cross-functional partnership between the Sourcing & Quality teams and Product Development including finding and vetting new vendors as well as managing a robust vendor matrix to support the PD strategic plan
  • Cross-functionally support the Account Management team by reviewing agreements, quality standards and managing program execution
  • Responsibility of RFQ/RFP processes when needed to support both the Account Management team and the Product Development team
  • Overseeing overall product quality and testing for the company
  • Work closely with Supply Chain team to ensure on-time delivery to support build schedules in the Fulfillment Center

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 5 in a leadership/managerial capacity
  • Thorough understanding of Global Sourcing, Product Costing and Quality Assurance
  • Ability to cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of hardlines and softline sourcing and quality
  • Able to create strategic plans and execute them
  • Bi-lingual (Chinese is a plus)
  • Flexibility to travel is a must
