What You’ll Do

As our DevSecOps Engineer, you will work as part of a passionate agile project team to ensure every software deployment and release meets the quality standards our customers have come to rely on. You will wear many hats as a software developer responsible for building software releases and testing new code; as an automation expert using tools that automate the development, testing and integration of software releases/fixes; as a release manager who ensures each and every release is stable and; as a security officer, continually monitoring our product's health and security after update deployment. Specifically, you will:

• Securely build, deploy and update software that defines and evolves our infrastructure.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues and coordinate with the application support and development teams for remediations and documentation
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
• Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure vulnerabilities and other inconsistencies are addressed
• Collaborate with team members to improve the company’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, and infrastructure security
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure design and troubleshooting documentation.
• Develop and maintain network, system and application monitoring and utilize that in an actionable manner: alerting and automation (scaling)

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a DevOps, Systems and/or Security Engineer or equivalent role – must have experience with security and analytics tools from SAST to SIEM
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools, expertise in TFS/Azure DevOps
• Deep knowledge in managing and securing Windows Server as well as Linux, including CIS and STIG frameworks
• Expertise in troubleshooting and securing APIs and .NET applications running on IIS
• Working knowledge of PowerShell DSC and virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V, as well as configuration management tools such as SCCM, Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• Experience using a scripting language such as Perl, PowerShell or Python and know DevOps tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Working knowledge of databases and proficiency in MS SQL Server
• An ability to analyze a platform and recommend changes, remediate issues, and automate
