About Us

VideoAmp’s mission is to bridge the gap between television and digital advertising with campaign measurement, planning and audience-targeting solutions that dramatically improve the performance and cost-efficiency of advertising investment. Our engineers, data scientists, designers and media strategists are inspired by tackling one of the most challenging problems in media and marketing — bridging the divide between TV and digital media.

About the Role

Your mission is to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated AdTech products that help our Advertisers reach millions of customers everyday. Our backend team architects and implements RESTful APIs, in NodeJS, that support two of our most important and profitable products - planning and measurement. This is a dynamic team that is tackling challenges in big data, distributed systems and cloud infrastructure at scale. No two days will be the same and you will be receiving support from some of the best and brightest in the industry (don't take my word for it check out our LinkedIn/Glassdoor).

Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science preferred
  • Strong engineering skills including architecture, testing, monitoring, operations and deployment
  • 4+ years of hands-on coding experience building RESTful APIs
  • Strong object-oriented design and programming skills
  • Experience with at least one well-known NodeJS application framework - we use Express
  • Database modeling skills in either SQL or NoSQL
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure or another cloud provider
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems
  • Develop and release using agile methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend our RESTful APIs
  • Design, build, and maintain real-time, event-driven systems, services, and features
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices
  • Develop and release using agile methodologies
