Klickly is fast-growing startup located in Santa Monica, recently named one of BuiltInLA's "Top 50 Companies to Watch in Los Angeles" as well as being named “Best Leadership” and “Best CEO” by Comparably. Our proprietary tech is the first of its kind, allowing in-ad purchases in programmatic and social advertising (think: web-wide recommendation engine or eCommerce DSP).

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer / SysAdmin who will jump right into hands-on development to generate solutions. Candidate will work closely with Performance and Product teams to maintain and improve Klickly's existing back-end logic.

Comp package: based on experience but should expect salary plus meaningful equity upside reflective of senior lead roles.

Expertise in platforms used to run Klickly’s core functionalities:

• Admin - CI/CD, AWS (includes ec2, elastic beanstalk, lambda, s3, dynamodb, elasticache, redshift, route 53, codepipeline, elasticsearch)
• Big data infrastructure (tensorflow, AWS machine learning, Watson and recommendation engines)
• Database - redis, mongo, SQL, postgres
• Back-end - node, express, mongoose

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily systems monitoring and management across all production and non-production cloud infrastructure
• Interface with users and developers in order to resolve technical and user problems and improve upon CI/CD pipelines
• Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations
• Plan for and ensure adequate load and performance during peak traffic and off-hour
• Install, configure, and manage different operating systems with Infrastructure as Code Automation
• Adhere to existing operational processes and maintain related documentation.
• Monitor industry trends and keep abreast of new tools and technologies.
