We’re looking for an Android SDET(Software Development Engineer, Test) to grow our awesome Engineering team in Los Angeles, CA. Are you someone who loves solving interesting problems and digging into the code? If you answer yes, then we want to hear from you! (see our open positions)

You will join the Android core engineering team as an advocate of quality for the entire Android engineering team. You’ll communicate the latest changes to the rest of QA organization, escalade bug fixes that block CI, quarantine stale tests and fix/update them. You’ll work closely with offshore Automation team to maintain our Continuous test automation pipeline.

In this role you will:

• You’ll support and monitor CI/CD for Android team
• You’ll investigate bugs, flaky tests, or stale tests in case of test failure
• You’ll be able to quarantine broken test and file bugs in case of a defect in the app
• You’ll update/fix broken tests and bring them back online
• You’ll assist in prioritizing bugs with PM’s/EM’s on a daily basis to make sure that blocking bugs get prioritized
• You’ll work with offshore teams to give a status update on new features and analytics coverage
• You’ll add/write new P0/P1 bugs into regression backlog
• You’ll attend the Android core team daily stand-ups and planning meetings to plan accordingly any upcoming changes.

We're looking for:

• You’ll have 1-2 years as an Android Dev/Engineer or 3+ years of SDET / Test Automation experience
• You’ll have enterprise experience with automating Android mobile apps using Android Testing Tools (Espresso) which part of Jetpack SDK
• You’ll have a fundamental knowledge of Android App development
