About Us:
Comfrt is one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands, dedicated to blending mental wellness, inclusivity, and elevated comfort into every piece we create. Our mission goes beyond clothing — we strive to build a community where everyone feels supported and seen.
About the Job:
Comfrt is looking for a driven and technical Ecommerce CRO Project Manager to own and elevate our digital storefront experience. This role is integral in connecting Ecommerce and Technology.  You'll lead conversion rate optimization efforts, manage our agency and vendor ecosystem, and build the roadmap that drives measurable revenue growth. If you thrive in a fast-paced DTC environment and love turning customer insights into better buying journeys, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
CRO & Experimentation

  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across the Comfrt site & mobile app to improve conversion rates and AOV.
  • Map and continuously optimize customer funnels and journeys using FullStory — identifying friction points, rage clicks, and drop-off patterns.
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into prioritized test hypotheses and actionable UX improvements.
  • Partner with design and development to implement CRO changes swiftly and accurately.

Technical Ownership

  • Drive Shopify platform excellence across flows, discount logic, metafields, and storefront configuration — ensuring every setting and automation serves the customer experience and bottom line.
  • Manage and maintain integrations with external CMS platforms, ensuring content is accurate, performant, and conversion-optimized.
  • Lead front-end QA in collaboration with developers, applying working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to communicate changes and catch issues.
  • Oversee the Fuego mobile app experience, coordinating updates and ensuring alignment with the web roadmap.
  • Manage landing page creation & omnichannel adoption for testing purposes & insights.

Agency & Vendor Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for Comfrt's key external partners: Fullstory, Okendo, Rebuy, Fuego, PrettyDamnQuick & Recart.
  • Set clear deliverables, timelines, and performance expectations with agency partners; hold weekly syncs and manage escalations.
  • Evaluate partner performance regularly and drive continuous improvement across all vendor engagements.

Sale & Promotions Execution

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of sales events — coordinating pricing, discounts, and Shopify flows
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align promotional calendars with email, paid, and social campaigns.
  • Ensure all promotional mechanics are QA'd, launched on time, and post-analyzed for performance.

Ecommerce Data & Reporting

  • Build and maintain ecommerce reporting dashboards that surface KPIs including CVR, AOV, revenue by channel, and funnel performance.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance recaps to leadership with insights and recommended actions.
  • Monitor site health metrics (page speed, add-to-cart rates, checkout abandonment) and proactively flag anomalies.

Roadmap & Project Management

  • Own and maintain the ecommerce project roadmap — balancing CRO tests, feature builds, vendor initiatives, and seasonal priorities.
  • Run structured sprint planning and project check-ins, keeping stakeholders aligned and work on track.
  • Write clear briefs, tickets, and requirements for development and agency teams.
  • Identify and remove blockers across workstreams proactively.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of ecommerce experience, ideally in a DTC or consumer brand environment.
  • Hands-on Shopify experience — you know your way around flows, discounts, themes, and the admin deeply.
  • Demonstrated CRO experience: you've run A/B tests, understand statistical significance, and know how to design experiments that drive meaningful results.
  • Proficiency with FullStory or a comparable session recording / analytics tool (Hotjar, Heap, etc.).
  • Front-end technical fluency — you can read and write basic HTML/CSS/JS and communicate clearly with developers.
  • Experience managing external CMS platforms (e.g., Pack Digital, Contentful, or similar), with management experience in a headless framework.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple agency and vendor relationships simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience building ecommerce dashboards and reports (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Looker, or similar).
  • Highly organized project manager — you keep roadmaps tight and teams accountable.
  • Experience with Okendo, Rebuy, Recart, PrettyDamnQuick & mobile app coordination

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
