Summary
Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, our Director of User Acquisition will work across Grindr and Into brands -- to help manage user acquisition globally. We’re looking for the right balance of leadership, user acquisition, CRM, email marketing, and strategy in this brand new role in addition to a strong passion for the LGBTQ community. This position will be based in our West Hollywood Headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage user acquisition strategy and execution, including metrics and CPI/LTV/ROI targets
- Manage user acquisition working with cross-functional teams in Product, Marketing, Analytics and Engineering to drive the highest ROI possible
- Partner with media director to create and optimize media and paid channel activity
- Perform deep analysis of media spend on various channels (display, search, social, etc.) to learn and identify the most effective strategies
- Manage a team of analysts and email marketers to drive user acquisition and manage user lifecycle to drive optimal LTV
- Facilitate the selection, development, and management of testing platforms and technical tools designed to streamline UA operations and analysis
- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new advertising channels and partners
- Partner with Vice President, Marketing, Director of Growth, and Paid Media Manager to source negotiate and develop innovative solutions for acquisition
- Cultivate and own key strategic relationships with acquisition partners such as (but not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Google, and AdColony
Requirements
- 6+ years of user acquisition marketing experience; preferably for a digital product
- Bachelor's Degree Required, MBA a plus
- Experience in performance marketing and leading successful teams
- Experience with metrics and marketing platforms like Apptimize, Localytics, AppBoy, Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, and Fabric/Crashalytics
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Ability to be self-motivated as well as work both independently and as part of a team
- Innovative and creative, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Solid business acumen and understanding of marketing strategies
