The Role: 

Carrot is seeking a strategic and operational leader to serve as Director, Global Clinical Operations - Asia-Pacific. In this role, you will lead a team of operationally and clinically-focused employees and consultants to oversee the success and growth of Carrot’s operational infrastructure in the APAC region. Leveraging your deep expertise in the Asia-Pacific healthcare landscape, you will drive the regional depth and breadth for Carrot’s clinical programs and journeys, support the health and growth of our provider networks, and deepen and scale our operational infrastructure across APAC. You will also oversee and manage, providing support and insights for our member services, customer services, and go-to-market teams.

The Team: 

This role sits within our Operations department, and you will closely partner with other regionally-focused clinical operations teams, the broader Operations department, as well as product, legal, member-facing, client-facing, and advisory-focused individuals and teams. This role reports directly to the VP, Global Clinical Operations for APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational and clinically-focused employees and consultants, empowering them to leverage their deep APAC-specific expertise to support the growth of our operations across the region.Journey Depth, Optimization, and Expansion: Deepen regional-specific insights and knowledge to enhance the depth and breadth of Carrot’s journeys, programs, and offerings. Oversee and support the strategic expansion of programs and journeys into new markets across the region.
  • Provider/Clinic Network Management: Manage the health and growth of our clinic/provider ecosystem, including supporting the team with providing high-touch collaboration with our partner providers across the APAC region
  • Localization and implementation of clinical practices, standards, and guidelines: Oversee and support the incorporation of up-to-date, evidence-based clinical practices and procedures into Carrot’s benefit determination guidelines that align with country/region-specific clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Tier II Member and Client-Facing Support: Own the team-wide delivery of efficient, high-value insights to member and customer services teams to support a best-in-class client experience. Support external calls to support customers and prospects, as needed.
  • Operational Rigor: Support the development and successful execution of team and department-wide KPIs, SLAs, and OKRs. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years of experience specifically focused on APAC markets in an operations and strategy-related capacity
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience
  • Business-level proficiency in English is required; Fluency and/or proficiency in additional languages is highly desired. 
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in healthcare across the APAC region; Experience in fertility, family-building and/or hormonal health is highly preferred
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders across various functions
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to measure goals, track success metrics, and meet deadlines
  • Strong senior-leadership/executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with project management and data visualization tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Tableau preferred

Compensation:

The starting base salary for this position will range and actual compensation may differ from the listed base salary based on your specific skills and experience.

Singapore - SGD 180,000-202,500

Australia - AUD 170,000-210,000

Japan - JPY12,000,000-15,000,000

Taiwan - NT 2,200,000- 2,850,000
