We are one of the fastest-growing vertical SaaS companies in history, and we are just getting started. EvenUp is backed by top VCs, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, SignalFire, and Lightspeed. We are looking to expand our team with talented, driven, and collaborative individuals who seek to have a lasting impact. Learn more at www.evenuplaw.com.

About the Role

EvenUp is transforming how personal injury law firms secure justice for their clients through AI-powered demand packages that streamline case preparation and valuation. As we continue to scale, we’re building our first Account Management function — and we’re looking for a Director of Account Management to build a cross sales and renewal-focused sales team.

In this role, you will build, coach, and empower a team of Account Managers to build executive customer relationships, prospect into the customer base, align customer needs with our long term product vision, and close new subscription cross sales and account expansion deals. You’ll design and operationalize the account management motion — from onboarding enablement and customer engagement to sales excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Directly manage a team of SMB, MM, and Enterprise account managers to deliver monthly goal attainment

  • Build a new function by defining the standards for customer engagement, cross functional partnership, outbound prospecting, discovery, and deal closing

  • Hire and ramp contributors into a high-performance organization with recruiting, training, and pace setting

  • Experiment with lifecycle playbooks to develop cross sale and expansion opportunities at key customer lifecycle touchpoints (onboarding, quarterly business reviews, renewals)

  • Develop specific and targeted goals for contributors on your team to help them grow and develop

  • Find innovative and creative ways to improve and increase performance

  • Take an entrepreneurial approach to the role, working collaboratively with the rest of the leadership team to get things done

What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of management experience in quota carrying roles (Sales or Account Management)

  • 1+ years of second-line management experience

  • Proven track record of team quota-attainment via new business or cross sales

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable working with senior executives both internally and externally

  • High integrity and passion for creating meaningful impact for customers and teammates alike

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
