Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist

Health+Commerce is a rapidly growing healthcare marketing and communications agency with practicing professionals throughout the country. This will be a hybrid role that requires the employee to be within a commutable distance from our main locations:

  • Denver, CO
  • St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities:

  • Staying current on the ever-evolving digital and social media marketing landscape and providing updates on emerging trends to internal teams and clients 
  • Developing a strong understanding of client goals and objectives, target audiences, and business drivers 
  • Conducting social media audits and competitive research
  • Preparing tailored, strategic recommendations for paid and organic digital and social media marketing programs, based on research findings, metrics, and industry trends/best practices
  • Creating compelling content for a variety of channels, from social media and digital ad platforms to emails, corporate websites and landing pages 
  • Researching and identifying online influencers
  • Collaborating across the agency on the development of smart, integrated plans and campaigns 
  • Using DIY software to create simple imagery, motion graphics and videos, and managing creative partners (graphic designers, animators, web developers, etc.) for more complex projects
  • Measuring and analyzing campaign performance and leveraging insights for content optimization
  • Managing projects to ensure on-brief and on-time delivery 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 2 – 4 years of previous work experience in digital and social media marketing (or 1-3 years of experience with a Master’s degree)
  • Intermediate knowledge of digital and social media marketing best practices, procedures and trends
  • Familiarity with the business applications of wide variety of social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and more
  • Strong short-form copywriting skills, with ability to flex style to reflect the client’s brand voice and meet the needs of a variety of audiences (investors, physicians, patients, general public etc.) 
  • Eye for great design and understanding of basic design principles
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to form strategic recommendations and program optimizations based on data, industry trends, and best practices
  • Record of success effectively managing time, budget trackers, and project workplans to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and project updates to colleagues and clients
  • Interest and willingness to learn about the evolving healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DIY graphic design and video editing software
    (i.e. Canva, iMovie, Lumen5)
  • Experience with social media publishing and listening software
    (i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social) 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Demonstrated success managing B2B and/or B2C social media marketing campaigns
