The Role

We are looking for a highly-creative web designer to work on our Virtualitics Predict web application. Virtualitics Predict is an application that uses ML-based predictive modeling to help organizations make better data-driven decisions. We are committed to not only helping our customers make better predictions, but also helping our customers better understand these predictions through superior visualizations and interactivity.

This position will require proposing innovative designs that will excel in our target markets, develop wireframes, and then work with our engineers to bring these designs to life. The ideal candidate will be comfortable getting hands-on with CSS and HTML to help implement or iterate on these designs, but JavaScript experience is not required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Generate beautiful designs that help our customers understand their data
• Design with transitions, interactivity, and responsiveness in mind
• Research competitors and examples of excellent design
• Create wireframes using Figma and other tools
• Help the engineering team implement and improve upon these wireframes using HTML and CSS

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional work experience in web design
• Knowledge of best practices in web design
• Familiar with wireframing/design tools (e.g. Figma, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Experience with HTML and CSS
• Comfortable with web UI libraries like Material-UI
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government
