Procore is looking for a User Experience Manager! In this role, you will be leading a talented group of designers and researchers, and work with our Product and Engineering teams to create delightful, effortless experiences for our users. This role will consist of a balance between strategic work, recruiting, thought leadership and mentoring, while still remaining heavily involved in hands-on design work for our UX initiatives.

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What You'll Do:

• Ensuring consistency and coherence across our projects, products and platforms.
• Managing and mentoring team members and growing them into world-class designers.
• Assisting team members with their deliverables, often jumping in to help with hands-on work.
• Providing creative direction to team members and ensuring productive communication with PMs and engineers.
• Helping set repeatable, scalable processes that set individual contributors up for success.
• Keeping up to date with design tools, trends, and patterns to ensure the team is always leveraging the best tools and technologies.
• Scouting and recruiting top talent.

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience in design leadership and management.
• A proven track record of inspiring and leading a design team and executing on business goals.
• 5+ years of prior experience in product design and holds a degree in design or HCI.
• A deep expertise in user experience principles, methodologies, and problem solving.
• Excited to make a big impact and take ownership of our products’ experience by combining business and end-user goals to solve real-world problems.
