NuORDER is looking for a UX Designer to design intuitive user experiences for our mobile and web apps. Empowering over 900 brands by bringing their wholesale business online, our design team is focused on bringing the best B2C experiences to the complexity of the B2B world. Our platform processes more than $6B (yes billion!) in GMV annually.
This role requires someone who enjoys taking difficult tasks and making them easy to complete. We are also a startup environment so flexibility, rapid iteration and never knowing what may be next is the norm for us. Ideally you have a SaaS background and experience with eCommerce.
What you’ll do at NuORDER (responsibilities)
- Work directly with users (wholesale buyers & sellers) to understand how we can solve their business needs and pain points at scale
- Create sketches, wireframes, interactive prototypes and more to define, develop and test new user experiences based on user research
- Work with the Product team to drive prioritization of the right features to improve our app’s usability and utility
- Work with our Engineering team to validate and gather feedback when solidifying ideas, and to ensure dev ready designs are understood and implemented as intended
- Support existing design team in a variety of core design tasks
- Bring a love of excellent customer experience to all that you do!
What we’re looking for (experience/qualifications)
- 3+ years experience in Product UX
- Extensive experience in designing for mobile and responsive web design patterns
- Deep understanding of current UX methodologies (user research, journey maps, personas, job stories)
- Experience with producing a variety of UX deliverables (wireframing, process flows/maps, interactive prototypes)
- Experience conducting user testing sessions and gathering feedback
- Knowledge of Front End development and web best practices
- Fluency in Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite and/or other prototyping and design tools
- Experience in working with a software development team in an agile development environment
- Experience managing multiple projects at once
- A thoughtful team player and excellent communicator
- Someone who thrives in a startup culture
- An online portfolio with samples of your best work
Additional skills that we’d love (but aren’t required)
- B2B and/or eCommerce experience
- Experience with Information Architecture / Navigation Hierarchy
- Experience with Design Systems
- Experience creating high fidelity comps and interactive prototypes
- Experience in Interaction Design
