WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We're looking for a Sr. UX Designer to create elegant, intuitive user interfaces that will help solve complex problems. The Sr. UX Designer will thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual will leverage, foster, and extend the use of established UX techniques and best practices in the creation of great designs. The Sr. UX Designer must have a passion for empathizing with the needs and behaviors of the user and the business and know how to solve problems for both through design.

Other responsibilities include:

• Taking a user experience design process from concept to execution; approaching design from a user’s perspective, listening to users and balancing their needs alongside business goals and technical capabilities
• Conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys
• Designing and delivering user personas, sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Leading overall UX strategy for the product
• Communicating with stakeholders (representing business, product, and engineering) to understand requirements and priorities

Experience:

WHAT TO BRING:

• 3+ years of UX design experience
• Experience delivering a long-term UX vision for a product
• Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Suite, Zeplin, or the like
• Customer-focused, with experience using design research methods to uncover customer insights
• A deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation
• Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
