At GoGuardian, we’re building applications that integrate technology with classroom instruction to improve learning and we're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our Design Team. As a UX/UI designer, you’ll partner with developers and product owners to define engaging, consistent, and innovative experiences for GoGuardian products.

What you'll do:

• Deliver experiences that can be mapped to defined product requirements and designs based on specific use cases and user goals.
• Produce design deliverables for each step of the product development process from design exploration to user research examples and final UI design, including task outlines, workflow diagrams, wireframes, interaction mockups, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Represent the UX voice and act as an advocate for the user in all conversations when collaborating closely with developers and product owners.
• Maintain, innovate upon, and surpass industry best practices for UX and product design methods, trends, and processes.
• Provide guidance to our developers as they build out UI.

What you'll need:

• 2+ years creating product experiences for browser-based applications and services.
• Outstanding portfolio of innovative UX examples demonstrating process, design vision and real-world solutions.
• Fluency with appropriate design tools for exploring, prototyping, testing, and delivering professional-level UX work.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify design solutions from a variety of data and information sources.
• Strong communication skills and a proven capacity to prioritize and defend design decisions.
• Familiarity with web development solutions such as HTML5/CSS3/Javascript.
• Enthusiasm to share, innovate, and create world-class design with a like-minded team of fellow creatives.

• You're interested in education and possess a desire to see technology transform learning.
• Experience with conducting user testing and research.
• Experience with interaction prototyping using a code framework or a Javascript tool such as Framer.
