Greetings! As our Sr. UX Researcher, you’ll be joining a small but dedicated internal team of designers and engineers who are focused on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with big data. You’ll help us solve enterprise level problems that have never been solved before, by conducting research to help us better understand our users and how our products impact their lives.

Job Description

You will:

  • Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of our products and experiences
  • Collect and analyze user behavior data by leveraging qualitative and quantitative research methods such as usability testing, field studies, ethnography, surveys, interviews, benchmarking, analytics studies, and split testing
  • Work with designers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize and execute on research opportunities
  • Understand and incorporate complex business and technical requirements into research initiatives
  • Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports, infographics, zoom conferences, and in-person presentations
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify problems, test ideas, and refine workflows
  • Be a leading voice and contributor in the evolution of our research design and strategies
  • Stay current with UX best practices and share findings with the team and community

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

You have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Human-computer Interactions, Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Proven successful experience integrating UX research into a product’s design lifecycle
  • Experience conducting field research such as (but not limited to) usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, and interviews
  • Experience conducting product research across a variety of industries and/or verticals
  • Strong understanding of the advantages and limitations of various different research methods and strategies
  • A deep knowledge of when and how to apply research strategies
  • An excellent communicator who is able to articulate complex research findings to uninitiated stakeholders in order to drive product success
  • A thoughtful and critical mind that challenges the status quo and strives for continuous improvement

 

Bonus skills:

  • Experience working with highly collaborative, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to present research findings in engaging and compelling ways
  • Creative thinker and strategist who is able to work on multiple projects at once
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum and Jira
