Who we are seeking

Zwift is looking for an experienced and creative Sr UI Designer to join our Game Design team. In this role, you'll be defining and designing production assets that will take the Zwift experience to the next level. You will collaborate with fellow UI Designers, Game Designers, UX Designers, and Developers to tackle challenges unique to merging gaming and fitness hardware and software. You'll have an organized approach to bringing polished designs to life, efficiently and thoughtfully, that feel appropriate on a wide range of screen sizes. If you've got a penchant for running, cycling, triathlons, or other forms of fitness, that's a huge plus!

What you'll do

Design and create concepts, workflows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity mockups for in-game features

Collaborate with fellow UI, UX and Game Designers to strategize and define key game feature specifications

Execute design work with a high level of polish, creating production level assets sized appropriately to Apple TV, desktop, tablet, and mobile screens

Help define and refine the Zwift design system while keeping our goals, our users' goals, and multiple platforms front of mind

Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams of Game Design, Product Design, Programming, Marketing and QA to shepherd a design from concept to launch

Act as a Zwifter advocate to ensure the highest level of usability, playability, and visual quality

What you'll bring

Outstanding portfolio of game UI examples that demonstrate your strong design skills

5+ years UI Design experience working on games that span desktop, tablet, mobile, and Apple TV

Experience designing for games that have a physical/digital interaction is a huge plus

Solid understanding of UI design, user-centered design, and cross platform design

Experience working closely with fellow UI Designers, Game Designers, UX Designers, and Programmers on a live product with a passionate user base

Thorough grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, especially when it comes to navigation, data visualization, and HUD design

Expert knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and experience with prototyping tools such as Invision

Comfortable both providing and receiving objective feedback, and eager to problem solve collaboratively

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and raise questions when ambiguity arises

Enthusiasm in joining a fun, energetic team with a variety of personalities

Bonus Level

Interested in cycling, running, triathlons, or other fitness activities (regular use of Zwift is a must to ensure you're creating the best experience possible for our Zwifters)
