As the Sr. Graphic Designer on the sports team, you will visualize the crate experience for our subscribers through collaboration with a variety of team members to deliver a polished final product. You are a multi-faceted designer and are comfortable with many applications of your talents, including graphics for use in the magazine, t-shirts and on multiple packaging options. To thrive in this position, you must be a detail-oriented and organized sports fan with strong attention to follow-through and high quality design practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high quality work for a variety of project types from product graphics to digital media
• Collaborate with other designers to deliver design solutions from concept through completion in a timely manner
• Work closely with the creative lead on creating design pitch presentations to licensors and help ensure a smooth approval process.

WHAT DEFINES SUCCESS:

• Identify creative solutions within the confines of licensor style guide
• Be an advocate for good design practice
• Be immersed in the established creative process and contribute during brainstorms and ideation sessions.
• Actively contributes in a collaborative environment who gives and receives insights from a variety of levels within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:

• BFA or BA in related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years as a graphic designer with experience in rapid prototyping and mockup, preferably in a sports environment at some time in your career.
• Strong foundation in visual design theory (color theory, composition, typography, etc.)
• Proficiency in Adobe products or other relevant applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, InVision, Premiere)
• You have a favorite baseball and basketball team and speak the language of the community. You sketch team t-shirt designs while you are in a waiting room or an airport.
• Experience designing for apparel and packaging
