Position Intro:

Soothe is looking for a Senior UX Designer who is ready to make an impact towards our disruptive brand presence by designing user-centric experiences that captivate Soothe users.  As the Senior UX Designer at Soothe, you will own UX and Design, and work cross-functionally with our Product and Marketing teams. From strategy and research, to ideation and production, to handoff and QA, you will lead every step of the design process for a variety of mediums. Through utilization of a data-driven and research approach, you will help drive alignment and roadmap prioritization across business lines. You will ensure a congruent and consistent user experience across all content platforms by providing evidence-based arguments for problem definitions and solutions.

 What you will do:

• Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications
• Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, sketches and wireframes, and visual design
• Break down complex problems to find discrete and meaningful solutions that improve the efficacy of internal content teams.
• Build functional prototypes through InVision or equivalent to validate and test your designs
• Responsible for organization and participation in user testing and A/B testing for UX related concerns.
• Brainstorm new features and create pixel-perfect designs for Soothe’s website and apps
• Collaborate with fellow designers to develop and communicate underlying concepts that inspire development implementation
• Maintain and promote the evolution of the Soothe’s visual style guide, ensuring that all work adheres to brand guidelines resulting in visual and brand consistency throughout all content platforms and all marketing materials
• Keep a pulse on exciting digital campaigns, social trends, and industry technology in order to promote new ways of thinking, working, and problem-solving

You will be successful if you have the following:

• 5-7 years of professional product design experience
• Experience with collaborative Lean UX frameworks and human-centered design. 
• Comfortable working with a variety of tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, and Zeplin
• A solid knowledge of typography, color, grid and composition
• A skilled storyteller, with experience developing engaging concepts that also deliver business results
• A standout creative portfolio that demonstrates examples of how you used research to frame problems and solved them collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
